when daddy comes home...

The boys LOVE their daddy, when he walks in the house; they get sooo excited and both yell daddy (dada) daddy (dada) a million times. they make sure they get the same amount of attention. their favorite spot is the rocking chair telling him about their day. I just love it, and thinks it is so special. Dylan babbles long sentences, expecting him to understand every word. So cute.

Favorite picnic spot

The boys and I have a new favorite place. We take chick-fil-a to UT Tyler, have a picnic and feed the ducks. We took Daddy one Saturday to show him what it is all about.
Dylan will jump in the water if he could!

Dylan's favorite thing to do is reading animal books. The moment someone sits down he will corner you with a book. He gets in your lap and start making animal sounds. So cute! Here he is with Oupa.... it was oupa's turn to read...

Cousins

I did it! All of them in a photo.... This pic makes me smile every time I look at it!

Christmas Eve it was snowing here for a few minutes! McCade standing in the snow, I am really disappointed... I can't see any snowflakes! Look close...on his jacket are white spots...it is snow flakes! :)

Dylan LOVES my parents' dog - Meisie. She is the best dog and so patient with him. He does whatever he wants with her, and she is just too happy about the attention.

Santa!

So this year McCade decided Santa is not too scary and strange looking. He talked to him, and told him he wants a toy forklift and also told him what Dylan wants... a toy vacuum cleaner :) When I asked him if he is going to sit on Santa's lap he said..."how about I just stand next to him" and so he did :) Dylan did not want anything to do with this funny looking creature!

gingerbread "mans"

McCade has been begging me to bake gingerbread mans (in his words)....so today was a perfect cold winter's day to do it. He had so much fun cutting, baking, decorating and eating it. He had a lot of gingerbread mans!! So much he didn't even eat much of his chick-fil-a (that is a first) Dylan loved it too.
So proud of his work!

Dylan cutie... playing in the "ford" in our living room... it pretty much take up all walking space, but he and McCade LOVE it. His mouth is full of crumbs.
