Christmas

I don't know how to upload the images in the correct order... oh well!

This is taken at the end of Christmas day... McCade got a hold of a razor and decided to shave... he was very proud of it and was mad at me when I took the razor from him, even though there was blood all over his face and hands!

Dylan was so not in the mood to pose.

McCade showing of Harold the helicopter (He loves anything Thomas the Train related)

So excited about his garbage truck!

McCade's morning face... isn't it funny!

We went to Nonnie and Pops' in Denison for Christmas. McCade had a blast playing with his cousins and grandparents. He also loved staying at Granma's house. He wanted a garbage truck from Santa, and also a bike. But the morning of Christmas he was soooo excited about his garbage truck, he didn't even pay attention to anything else. It was really neat to see his reaction, and how much he enjoyed/enjoys playing with it. We didn't take many pictures... it was a little crazy at times. But we did video tape all the cousins... that is way easier than to get 5 cousins (4yrs and under) together for pictures. Dylan and McCade looked so cute on Christmas day... THANKS TO Lori!
Dylan's first Christmas was a little though on him... he didn't want to miss out on anything and was awake from 1pm to 10pm... which made his mommy and him VERY, VERY tired. That is pretty much why there are only pictures taken in the morning :)
Dylan is 6 weeks old. He is just smiling and cooing... so, so cute!

My life goes on.

No, McCade is not asleep... :)
McCade riding a bull.

Dylan is 4 weeks old today!

Enjoying the slides at Pump it up.

McCade had NO interest in Santa....maybe a little from a distance.

When I had McCade my life totally stopped for a year. I pretty much stayed home and was too tired (and scared) to go anywhere. My friends would invite me for lunch and I would either not show up or come up with an excuse not to go. With Dylan... totally opposite. I have no choice... McCade's life has to go on... So, I am very, very proud of myself to announce what we have been doing with Dylan... to keep McCade's life normal.

Last week we went to a play date (I did have clean clothes on, clean hair, but no make up on), Saturday we we went to Target (it was very, very busy) McCade LOVES Target b/c he gets popcorn.
Monday we went to the mall.... YES the mall... I had mascara on... McCade had to meet Santa, we ate at chick-fil-a and played at the mall's little play ground... I prayed God will kill every germ we got in contact with.
Tuesday we went to Walmart to get groceries...in the rain!
Wednesday my mom helped out and came to get McCade for a while. Thank you mom! I could sweep the floor, vacuum, and clean the bathrooms.
Today we went to Pump it up! It is so, so cold, so McCade can not play outside. While I was rocking Dylan I prayed and asked God to guide me what to do with McCade... and Pump it up came to my thoughts. So, I went in faith... praying that we would not get any kind of bug. McCade had a blast, got rid of some energy, and is still napping... :)
How is Dylan handling all this??? GREAT.... he sleeps in the car seat. He is such a good baby.
Tomorrow we are going to play with some friends.
And then it is WEEKEND... which means Daddy is with us... yeah!!
Hopefully next week it will be warmer... what does people do up north to entertain their toddlers????

Dylan is 3 weeks old!!

Well, I can't believe it, but our sweet baby is 3 weeks old. Time is going by really fast! He is such a blessing; I am enjoying him so much. Breastfeeding this time is a joy, and not a pain...If you look at photo #1 he actually is getting some rolls in his thighs, which make my mommy heart so very happy. All the feedings are working!
Dylan weighed 9lbs 9 oz for his 2 week check-up and grew 1 1/4 inch.
He woke up just 2 times last night... I forgot how good it feels to get more than 4 hours of sleep!
McCade is doing very well. I do think he is getting a little tired of being home all the time, I also think he is ready for me to get out of the house... last night he asked me if I would go to a meeting... :) I think it means he wants to be home alone with daddy. :)

Thanksgiving

Dylan was asleep, so he missed out on the photos.

I have so, so much to be thankful for. I just can't thank God for everything, and I am not going to try to mentioned it all. Just a few...

I am so thankful for sweet Dylan. He arrived the perfect time! Stephaan was here to meet him; I could go to Wentzel's wedding; and McCade is just the right age for a new brother. I am so ashamed for doubting for how it all was going to work out.... God is in control and He definitely knows best.

I am also so thankful for a great husband. He has been helping me so much, and I am sad this long weekend is over. It was so nice to have him around. He works so hard for us, and NEVER complains about it.

I am so thankful for a wonderful family, and my mom/dad are here with me on the same continent. I am soooo thankful they have their green cards.

I am so thankful for wonderful friends. I am so blessed!

I am so thankful for my beautiful sons. They are just AWESOME! McCade has been such a good boy and makes me so happy!

I am so, so thankful for my wonderful in-laws. I have the PERFECT mother-in-law. She is jewel. I have so much appreciation for her, and will ALWAYS be thankful for the week she stayed w/ us.

I can go on and on, but will stop now.

Thank you Jesus for my great life!

So cute!

McCade loves his brother!

I told McCade to take the sippy cup out of his mouth so I can see his pretty lips, so he showed me how pretty it really is :)

Great Granma Collins

One week old!

We are doing so well. Dylan is 10 days old today, such a sweet baby. McCade just amazes me everyday. He is so patient with me; especially when I have to breastfeed, he just accepts that I can't help him at that moment and waits. He loves Dylan, and says "Dylan is so cute" probably about 10 times a day. When Dylan wakes up he says yeah, yeah, yeah. Here are some photos of the last week.
